Tax  Department Collections

The Collections office is responsible for the collection of all property taxes levied by Duplin County.  In addition to property tax, the office also oversees the billing and collection of the Room Occupancy Tax and the Rental Vehicle Tax.  Additional services provided include the issuance of County business licenses and mobile home moving permits.

We do accept payments in the tax collection office or by phone with a credit or debit card (VISA or Master Card). You can pay property or motor vehicle taxes in the office or by phone.

We also accept payments by credit card using our online tax payment system. You can only pay for property taxes online and there is a convenience fee for this service.
