Tax Department Land Records
Land Records Section is responsible for maintaining the Duplin County property base maps and real property ownership data. The property map is maintained on 2006, color, digital ortho-photography using legal documents recorded in the Duplin County Registrar of Deeds office. The property base map was built using the 2006, color digital ortho-photography using legal documents recorded in the Duplin County Register of Deeds office. All data is stored and edited using ERSI ArcGIS software. The digital maps include Cadastral (tax map) information including; property boundaries, road names, acreages, parcel dimensions, district boundaries and ownership information.
The Land Records Section provides the following services:
